SCIENCE AND QUALITY

When developing a formula, we consider each ingredient's source, form, amount and purpose, its relationship with other ingredients, and the presentation that will protect the finished product.
Science guides our choices.
Quality is how we turn those choices into a product.
02 · UNDERSTANDING THE NEED
First, we seek to understand the need and the biological process we aim to support. We then develop the formula by evaluating the ingredients, forms and amounts suited to that goal.

For us, formulation is a thought process that begins before the ingredient list.
03 · CHOOSING THE FORM
Vitamins, minerals, botanical extracts and other ingredients can be available in different forms. At Vitallin, we evaluate the choice of form in relation to the biological process the product aims to support.
ENTEROMAX / ZINC
Enteromax focuses on the gut ecosystem. The form of zinc used in the formula was therefore selected with its intended role in the gut environment and intestinal epithelium in mind.
We choose the ingredient form best suited to the purpose of the formula.

04 · RAW MATERIAL IDENTITY
A raw material's species or type, source, production method and technical properties define the character of the product. We select raw materials by evaluating these properties together.

For us, a raw material is much more than a name: it is the technical foundation of the formula.
05 · AMOUNT
We evaluate the amount of each ingredient in a formula in relation to the product's purpose. The values in our composition tables are therefore an important part of our approach to formula development.
12 strains · 10 billion CFU
370 mg inulin · 10 mg zinc
360 mg EPA · 240 mg DHA
Per softgel
400 IU · 800 IU
Child / adult daily serving
13 vitamins · 8 minerals
With 5 supporting ingredients
We believe that the amount of every ingredient in a formula should have a clear purpose.
06 · HOLISTIC FORMULATION
When developing a formula, we consider both the individual properties of its ingredients and the whole they create together.
We see formula design as a system of complementary ingredients.

07 · FORM / TECHNOLOGY
Alongside the formula's composition, we evaluate how its ingredients are delivered during use and how they reach the intended site.
Enteromax Capsules are supplied in plant-based DRcaps® capsules that dissolve in the intestine.
Formulation is a process that continues from ingredient selection to the moment of use.

08 · PACKAGING
We choose packaging with the product's characteristics, protection needs and method of use in mind.
BLISTER EXAMPLE
The blister packaging we use for tablets and capsules protects each dose in its own compartment. This helps limit environmental exposure before use and keeps each dose individually enclosed.
We prefer a product presentation that preserves its properties.
Our production decisions consider product protection and the user experience together.

09 · CARRIER INGREDIENTS
When evaluating a formula, we consider both the active ingredient and the system that carries it.
D3 EXAMPLE
Vitamin D3
+
pure olive oil
We believe every part of a formula should align with the product's intended use.
10 · THE ROLE OF SCIENCE
Scientific literature is one of our key tools for evaluating ingredients, forms, amounts, biological mechanisms and the formula's intended goal.
We translate scientific knowledge into product development decisions.
11 · EVIDENCE IN CONTEXT
When assessing a scientific study, we consider the ingredient's form, the strain identity of any microorganisms, the amount used, the population studied and the study methodology together.
When assessing scientific data on probiotics, we consider the microorganism's strain identity as well as its species.
We assess different extracts and raw material forms in the specific context of their sources.
We believe scientific detail is an essential part of sound interpretation.
12 · PRODUCTION
Our products are manufactured in accordance with applicable legislation and production requirements, with the necessary recording, control and traceability processes in place.
When choosing manufacturers, we evaluate their production infrastructure, quality systems, raw material processes and discipline in complying with applicable legislation.
We believe every product batch should be made with the same approach to quality.
13 · TRACEABILITY
The ability to trace a product's technical history, from raw material to production batch, is an important part of a quality system.
14 · ROLE IN THE FORMULA
When developing our formulas, we evaluate the place of each ingredient within the product's intended goal.
We believe that every ingredient's role in a formula should be clearly defined.
15 · USER EXPERIENCE
We see product protection, method of use, fit with daily life and the condition in which the product reaches the consumer as part of product development.
Quality is an experience that continues from production to the moment of use.

16 · SCIENCE + QUALITY
Every decision is part of the same approach: from selecting the right raw material to its form, amount and role in the formula, and from production to packaging and use.
Science means understanding why; quality means reflecting that knowledge correctly in the product.
